Red Crow Community College is seeking qualified applicants for the Operations and Maintenance Security Guard for our Main Campus in Standoff, AB.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site security, with a varied schedule including days, evenings, and after-hours events and campus activities. Key duties include monitoring security cameras, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Security Guard will also be expected to provide timely and accurate reports of any incidents or concerns.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide general security for the Main Campus in Standoff AB;
• Maintain and monitor security cameras;
• Adhere to Red Crow Community College policies and procedures;
• Ensure the safety of students and staff on campus;
• Work within the Operations and Maintenance team at Red Crow Community College;
• Work within a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends;
Qualifications
• Training and documentation of Security Guard Training, or 5 years related experience required.
• High School Diploma and/or some post-secondary education preferred;
• A working knowledge of Blackfoot language and understanding of First Nations culture is an asset.
